REVIEW- Cajun Heat’s Fire on the Bayou

Fire on the Bayou is a Cajun mustard, although the consistency is more like a sauce to be poured. Not sure that is the aim here, but you will get our take on this very point. This is our 2nd of 4 products to be reviewed for Cajun Heat. We are once again joined by G, Firehead Thomas and yours truly as review team Du Jour.

Buddah…you had me cracking up, “ruined my hot dog.”
Now to the issues…that batch is gone, tossed out…The thickness is fixed, the black pepper…it’s Cajun! But really…it’s fixed…it’s also in a new jar, not because Buddah called it a salsa jar, but because my labels didn’t fit on it very well.

Tom, and Buddah…if you guys are in town this weekend head on over to Chicama Run farm (part of Loudoun County Farm Tour), I’ll be there with a new batch you can try out.

The video quality from FHT reminds me of the first transmission from the moon. Is your camera dying?

He did 2 reviews outside back to back, and when he started it was light out. When this review started you can hardly see anything, so I tried to lighten it up a bit. Unfortunately, this was the best I was able to do. It was worse before though.

I don’t know why it’s choppy – somehow I must have changed a setting, but I’m not sure how to fix it. Could be how I am saving it on the computer….just don’t know.

Cajun man, you take criticism very well! This video was hilarious. I’ve never tried a cajun sauce, but there is one bottle in my whole town that I am going to try. It says it is a Cajun sauce for fish. I’ll try it before I go completely veg. I got a bottle of cajun spices, but it is really salty, I don’t know what to do with it. As for hot mustard, I did find one awesome one at the grocery store, it says Silver Spring Habanero Mustard.

How do you make an avatar? That purple thing with the fangs is scary. I’ll try with this photo of Jean Harlow. I hope it works. Please disregard if it doesn’t.

Thanks. I just wasted a whole hour fooling around with that, and finally went with my favorite singer. Okay, I gotta go spend some quality time with my hot sauces… :chef:
